Personal Description:

In general, my goal is to continue passing my knowledge on to others. Teaching and tutoring are some of the best professions because both the student and the teacher learn from each other. What makes me an excellent math tutor is the wide variety of skills I have acquired throughout my academic and tutoring careers.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. I have tutored in both private and group settings. My experience includes tutoring through a university program for four years. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities and tutor in all levels of math, from middle school math to college math. If you are preparing for the ACT Math, SAT Math, or PSAT Mathematics sections, I can help with that as well.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that it is important to make learning fun. I also believe in showing my students how the concepts they are learning relate to their personal interests and things going on in their lives. I always check my student's understanding of the basics before moving on to more advanced topics.
