Personal Description:

Although my main career is in aviation, I consider teaching as my original calling.
Since my early childhood I was an avid learner and participated in inter-school math and science competitions. During my university years I was helping my classmates to overcome their academic difficulties, and this experience became a cornerstone of my teaching career.
Upon my graduation from Moscow State Open University with an engineering degree in 2010 I decided to start an aviation career and moved to the USA. After 1 year of additional studies there I became employed as a Flight Instructor. My specialty was to work with lagging international students, so I’ve got a lot of experience in overcoming a language barrier and finding an individual approach.
Since that I worked as a pilot across the USA, Africa and Canada. When my schedule allowed me, I also worked part time as a personal tutor. I really enjoyed seeing the progress of my students and helping them to achieve their personal goals. While I advance through my aviation career my schedule becomes more and more flexible, therefore I would like to use this opportunity to devote more time to tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

- 3 years of private tutoring.
- 2 years as a Flight Instructor.
- 6 months as a children Climbing Instructor.

Tutoring Approach:

I tutored people of different cultures and ages, and I am familiar with the struggles of language and culture barriers first hand. I like the challenge, and I feel that harder the task is - higher is the reward. I always try to find an individual approach to the student and get to their level. And I use the opportunity to learn from them too.
