Personal Description:

I am a recent graduate working towards becoming a teacher. As a math tutor, I am passionate about math and enjoy helping others excel in the subject. With the knowledge I have gained from my studies, I am capable of tutoring elementary students, as well as high school and college students.

Tutoring Experience:

I completed my bachelor's degree in Mathematics and plan to enroll in a master's program. While in college, I tutored classmates in several math and science courses and am currently working with a student to prepare for their Educator Proficiency Assessments. Additionally, I can assist with high school chemistry and physics and have tutored students for the math section of Elementary Teacher Certification tests.

Tutoring Approach:

It's important to listen to my student's needs, encourage them consistently, and acknowledge their ongoing improvement. Identifying my students learning style and being patient with them as they review a topic is essential to my approach.
