Personal Description:

I am a certified educator (in English and French) with a Bilingual BA degree in English and French Language & Literature (Double Major) as well as an MA degree in English Literature.
I have over 8 years of experience tutoring students of various grade levels.
In addition, I possess a combination of patience, tenacity, kindness and enthusiasm—qualities that a competent teacher needs in order to instill a love of learning in his/her students.

Tutoring Experience:

I have considerable experience in one-on-one and classroom teaching with students of various grade levels. I am currently a French Immersion teacher at the Primary level with the YRDSB.

When dealing with linguistic difficulties, I utilize the following methods:

-Enriching and expanding your vocabulary to heighten expressivity in written and oral communication
-Correcting your grammatical mistakes (written and oral) and strengthening your grammatical knowledge with drills and exercises
-Developing strategies for reading and comprehending texts with maximum efficiency
