Personal Description:

I'm very enthusiastic about English, writing, grammar, history, and test preparation. I enjoy tutoring students of all ages to help improve their knowledge and increase their learning. I'm a good English tutor because of my wide variety of academic interests and my keen attention to detail.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and I graduated with high honors. In addition to being available to tutor students in various English topics like English grammar and syntax, essay editing, and writing, I can also help students prepare for the Reading, Writing, and Language sections of tests like the SAT and PSAT.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe having my student explain, describe, or work out concepts in their own words leads them to a more thorough understanding of English topics. Through their speaking, I am able to find out what areas they need more tutoring attention in. I find it helpful to learn my student's academic goals so I can help them in the way they most want and need.
