Personal Description:
Hello there,
For a brief introduction, my name is Vivian and I am from Vietnam. I have always wanted to become a tutor to help other pupils or peers with their courses because it makes me happy when others become comfortable with their studies after my thorough explanation.
The people around me always feel the positive energy from me, and my outgoing personality, along with patience and enthusiasm will help me excel at what I do.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taken multiple courses, including MHF4U (Advanced functions), MCV4U (Calculus and vectors), and other math courses. I have a strong interest in math - it's fun playing around with the numbers. When in secondary and high school, I helped school tutor students who were struggling with this subject and as a result, they passed the exams with decent grades. Not to mention that I, together with my group, won a second prize for creating a reading machine for the blind back in Vietnam.
During high school in Canada, I also volunteered at the Northumberland Hills Hospital and Cobourg Public Library as well, and all information related will be listed in my resume. My current job is a content writer who produces error-free, excellent articles about bicycles for a Vietnam-based company.
At the moment, considering the COVID situation, I can do online tutoring. When the COVID ends, I'd prefer to tutor in the GTA.
Thank you for reading and have a great weekend.
Tutoring Approach:
I was also a pupil, so I know the difficulties and struggles that secondary and high school students have with their subjects. I decide to become a tutor to help them understand the core of the matter and think in multiple perspective and approaches.
