Information About VictoriaToronto tutor
Hello! My name is Victoria and I am a second year university student studying bio-medical sciences. I am a patient, encouraging, and organized individual with a passion for learning. Although sciences such as biochemistry and neuroscience are my prime interests, I am also qualified in both oral and written French and English, musical theory, and mathematics.
I began my first paid teaching job at a day camp in Toronto. I taught summer music lessons to children aged 4 through 13 and later continued as an occasional teacher for the school year. I have also worked as a swim coach, a role that required a lot of organization and thought to effectively teach a large group of students. I grew up in a household with two teachers and have always been good at explaining my methods and
I will always strive to help my students reach their full potential! I am creative and flexible with my teaching methods so as to fit the needs of each individual student. I am a visual learner, so I enjoy drawing diagrams or sharing hand-written notes I make during tutoring sessions with my students so they may refer to them later on for clarity.
