Personal Description:

I have a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Laurier University. I am passionate about providing my students with a positive learning environment, in which they feel comfortable and confident in their learning. I feel strongly about providing students with every opportunity to ask questions, and go over the material a number of times as needed. I believe it is important to maintain a positive attitude so as to help encourage and support students in their learning. Ultimately, my goal is to help your child gain confidence in their education, and a deeper understanding of the topic at hand.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had extensive experience working with children of all ages through my work as a learn-to-skate coach, gymnastics coach, dance teacher/assistant, art curator/teacher, as well as my student-teaching experience, and more. I am passionate about teaching and I feel strongly that I can provide my students with skills they need in order to be successful.

My goal is to provide my students with a positive learning environment, and to support students through any educational struggles they may be experiencing. I believe that my positive attitude, enthusiasm, and teaching experiences have prepared me to be able to offer your child personalized strategies that work specifically for each of them.
