Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Trevor! I come from a family of educators, so you could say that education is in my blood. My goal as an English tutor is to prepare students for the rigors of life after high school and hopefully teach them to appreciate English along the way. I love that English asks big questions and inspires students to think more creatively, and I would be delighted to share that passion with you or your student.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a BA in English and a Master's in Education. I'm currently a high school teacher where I am fortunate enough to work with students from a variety of backgrounds. I also have an abundance of tutoring experience.

Tutoring Approach:

My father once told me, "Education hasn't changed since Socrates. It's about relationships." I always use that as my guiding principle whenever I'm preparing a lesson plan or find myself in the classroom.
