Personal Description:

Currently a student that is currently going to Seneca College and taking the Early Childhood Education Diploma program. I also have many years of computer experience as well

Tutoring Experience:

Currently working and volunteering for one of the Toronto District School Board schools. Working in the elementary school environment, and tutoring students from JK to grade 8.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach depends on the student’s needs and learning style. My way of teaching is based on encouraging students to think for themselves while using real life examples wherever possible. Generally I get started by using topics that students are more comfortable with. Afterwards, I gradually move towards more difficult areas as their confidence builds. To continue to check for understanding, questions and examples are used on a consistent basis. I don’t lecture the students or ask them to memorize things. As well, I do not to the students’ homework for them!
