Personal Description:

I am a University educated (Master's level) licensed Professional Engineer with 10 years of industry experience. I did fairly well in high school and University, scoring at the top levels of my graduating classes. I describe myself as quite motivated, responsive, and detail oriented.

Tutoring Experience:

I actually have performed limited tutoring in my lifetime, but you have to start somewhere!. I am now at a position in my life and career where I would like to use the academic and industry skills that I have acquired throughout my life and use them pass along and help out those who are seeking to do well in high school and are seriously considering pursuing post secondary education in University and/or college.

Tutoring Approach:

I do not believe in a one size fits all strategy to tutoring. My first steps is to have a conversation with the parent and student to determine what exactly they want to extract out of the tutoring sessions and any areas of weakness to focus on. Perhaps the student just wants someone to review their assignments, or give advice for writing reports, or to help solidify and cement certain concepts. Or sometimes more detailed plans and follow up is required. The approach would be tailored to each specific student.
