Personal Description:

I am able to help students with a variety of math, science, and computer-related topics. My field of mechanical engineering incorporates concepts related to physics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and more. This gives me a broad range of skills that I can help students investigate as a math tutor. I have a calm personality that can help students feel comfortable even when they are learning challenging material.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering as well.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that if a math tutor is relaxed, it can help the student relax. Once I understand a student's strengths and weaknesses, I am able to tailor instruction to their goals. I like to ask students questions to encourage them to think critically, and I make plenty of space for students to ask whatever questions they might have. My sessions are completely student-guided.
