Personal Description:
My greatest strength is the patience to teach anyone, no matter the skill level or struggle. I have an Honours Undergraduate degree in History, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science. I love my small town life, and enjoy the slower pace of living which gives me the time to learn continuously.
Tutoring Experience:
I have done casual tutoring and teaching in several different contexts. Helping in my mother's elementary school, guiding study sessions in high school and university, in addition to the countless lessons i've given to friends who don't grasp certain subjects.
Tutoring Approach:
As noted above, I am a very patient teacher, and will only progress to another topic when we've fully grasped the concept, or reached a point where learning has ceased. I love helping others to reach that point where the idea clicks into place and the information we are discussing suddenly makes sense to them.
