Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Tahir and I am a biology tutor. I've worked with children up to post-graduates. Students of all ages, levels of education, strengths, and weaknesses can succeed if they are willing to learn. They can also realize their own potential through knowledge, patience, and kindness.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's in general biology. I also have a master's degree in public health. My knowledge allows me to tutor anatomy, physiology, AP Biology, biochemistry, cell biology, biostatistics, and prep for various MCAT topics.

Tutoring Approach:

I've seen the challenges of academia and work to guide students and help them gain confidence. Positivity helps a student excel too, as is making content relatable and engaging them with music, videos, or media. When a student struggles in a concept, I try to reinforce basic concepts and guide them in practicing the material. When necessary, we can return to the basics to support more complex topics.
