Personal Description:

Hello! I am 24 years old. I just graduated with my Bachelor of Education After Degree. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History. I have tutored for over two years. I love working with students and seeing the light bulb moment when the students start to realize they understand a topic.

Tutoring Experience:

I currently work for another tutoring company. I have been with them for 2 years. I have taught both english and math lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

I think creating a relationship with the student is very important if you want to have a successful tutoring experience. Allowing the students to choose how they learn and what they learn is also important. Instead of telling the students what to learn give them an opportunity to learn for themselves through exploring different materials. Building a growth mindset and teaching goal setting is also important in creating a positive experience for the learners. Seeing the students growth from the beginning of the year to the last session is such a cool experience.
