Personal Description:

I graduated from Western University Master of Music in 2021. I am now offering Voice lessons at any level in Ottawa and online.
I offer my lessons in both English and Mandarin.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been giving private voice lessons for years at various levels. Feel free to communicate with me about any concerns you have about singing. I also have years of experience as an English teacher for students who are not English native speakers.

I have a degree in MMus at Western University, where I studied with the world-class mezzo-soprano. As a soprano myself, I am obsessed with voice pedagogy and am dedicated to bringing singing techniques as well as a passion for classical music to the world.

Tutoring Approach:

• Teaching classical, pop, children's voice, and contemporary types of music.

•My teaching methods are strongly based on voice techniques, especially at the beginning of the teaching process. I sincerely believe that the techniques are the root of musical expressions. However, I am eager to share my appreciation of musicology with my students while they are working on technical challenges since the two are mutually dependent on each other. The inter-dependent relationship can stimulate the growth of both musicality and techniques.
