Personal Description:

A French tutor, I enjoy the process of tutoring and the two-way interaction it entails. Tutoring others has helped me improve my understanding of old concepts and allows me to help my students learn. When working with a student, I try to connect with them on a personal level by using my humility.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. My focus in on cell and tissue engineering. But I have tutored fellow classmates since high school, where I worked in the literacy center. I helped students in a wide range of classes.

Tutoring Approach:

I ensure my students have a full understanding of the topic we're covering. Often starting by asking questions, I begin with what they know and make a plan to help them succeed and become an independent learner. I believe this process, repetition, and reading comprehension and practice are very important to learning a language.
