Personal Description:

Hello! I am a specialist in teaching STEM students social sciences, humanities, and essay writing. I am a PhD Candidate at Cornell University, based in the Greater Toronto Area. I hold an MA from Cornell University ('18) and an MA from the University of British Columbia ('15), as well as a BA from the University of King's College and Dalhousie University ('13). I have extensive expertise in qualitative research, medical anthropology, science and technology studies, environmental history, gender studies, and labour studies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 10 years of experience as an academic editor and over five years of experience teaching and tutoring students at the university level. I have designed and taught my own courses on academic writing, as well as worked as a teaching assistant for multiple university-level courses at the University of British Columbia and Cornell University. I am particularly skilled at teaching academic essay writing in the humanities and social sciences to students in the sciences, engineering, and medicine, as well as teaching critical thinking skills. I also have extensive experience working with English as an Additional Language students.
