Personal Description:

Hi, My name is Shivam and I'm currently pursuing my Master of Engineering-Chemical Engineering at the University of Alberta. It has always been my keen interest to share the knowledge with my friends/students. My mom is also a teacher since last 25 years and still heading for her passion. So, teaching skills come naturally into my genes. I am also dedicated and passionate for it.

Tutoring Experience:

I used to take home tuitions during my undergrad for 2 years. I taught my friends since my undergrad until now in my graduation. I am very approachable and do appreciate the efforts made by my tutees for raising questions during the class.

Tutoring Approach:

All sessions are taught based upon the pace of the student. I always prefer to read prior to taking the sessions, to answer every possible doubt that must be raised. I also do extra research to help myself and the students for better understanding. I schedule the class test to analyze the student's performance and try to improve his/her performance if needed. I put all my effort to make the other person comfortably grasp the concepts with ease. I try to keep a balance of theoretical, practical, and interactive methods while delivering the concepts.

Given a chance, I shall strive to hone my skills further.
