Personal Description:

I love teaching and education. My educational background has prepared me to help students of all ages and abilities. I am a biology tutor who can help with all levels of biology. Whether your high school student needs help with a homeostasis homework assignment or you are learning about cell biology, I am here to help.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in environmental science and a master's degree in city and regional planning. I have been a tutor since my undergraduate days. During my studies, I took numerous biology and science courses that allow me to be a great biology tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that teaching and tutoring need to be interactive, not just a lecture that students must sit through. Providing answers and methods is simply not enough to truly learn. I listen to my students and the challenges they face and then help them develop an effective strategy to overcome those challenges.
