Personal Description:

I have a strong science background, especially in the life sciences. I'm available as a biology tutor to work with students on topics like biology, anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry, among others. I can work with students at a high school or college level. I'm an effective tutor because I have learned through the many tutoring opportunities I've had.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in General Biology and went on to earn my master's degree in Pre-Health. I have worked with youth as a biology tutor and taken extensive science courses. I've been a one-on-one tutor and also worked with small groups.

Tutoring Approach:

I think it's important to teach science material in a way that makes the information understandable, accessible, and relevant to the real world. I start my sessions with new students by getting to know them a bit and discovering the tutoring methods that work best with their individual learning styles.
