Personal Description:
I have extensive experience in tutoring mathematics, statistics, computer, physics, and ESL. I did my PhD in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Calculus, Algebra, and Geometry. I am pretty confident with almost all subjects in Mathematics.
I am currently a casual tutor for math and computer at an educational institute providing after-school tutoring. I also have a couple of priva**Contact Detail Removed**arners (online tutoring) for math and stat at different levels.
Tutoring Experience:
As a Mathematics Tutor for more than two years in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the Victoria University, I have had to tutor and mark first-year and second-year undergrad papers such as Linear Algebra, Engineering Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling, and Computational Mathematics. In addition, I have been a Student Mentor to help and guide mainly first-year and second-year undergrad students who were having difficulties with their assignments or the content of a paper.
I have been a Robotics Instructor for Engineering Mathematics paper for about a year in the School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University. My duties have included Familiarising first-year engineering students with a range of fundamental mathematical techniques, encouraging them to employ these techniques to solve engineering problems, and teaching them how to utilize Python to model engineering problems.
As a Programing Tutor for nearly a year in the Electrical and Electronics Department at the Eastern Mediterranean University, I have been responsible for tutoring and marking first-year papers such as Introduction to Programming, and Algorithms and Data Structures.
After receiving my Academic IELTS certificate with an Overall Score of 7.5, I have worked as an ESL Tutor for one year at the Khorasan Language Institute. I have tutored elementary and intermediate language levels to students from primary school and high school with the age range of 7-16.
I have been an Electronics Instructor for two years at Arad Robo Co to teach the basics and fundamental topics of mechatronics and robotics to children from primary schools. This was my first experience in teaching. I have found tutoring children as a useful challenge because they have a fresh mind so they usually ask fundamental questions that can challenge the tutor to think more carefully.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is mostly student-centered with a focus on supervising the learner while s/he is working out given problems.
