This is how 6 referees rated Seun:
I am a licensed attorney but I've also been involved in educating others throughout my life. I've done everything from being a math tutor to helping people with test preparation, to tutoring elementary and high school students of all capabilities. I try to make sure that all of my tutoring sessions are engaging because students learn more if they are actively participating, instead of listening to a dry lecture.
I graduated from both Yale Law School and the University of Pittsburgh, and have been tutoring for a long time, including volunteer tutoring for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. I believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed, and I've always found the process of tutoring to be very rewarding.
My tutoring approach is to first learn more about my student, including their educational background, aspirations, and what they hope to accomplish through the tutoring experience. Then I can use this information as the foundation for our lessons. From there I like to focus on developing skills and understanding through repetition from the perspective that practice makes perfect.
