Personal Description:

A Queen's University English and Theatre graduate, I am currently applying for my Bachelor of Education. In the recent months, I've spent time camping, hiking, and I even did a cross-Canada road trip. I love the outdoors, reading, and sharing music with pals. One of my favourite pastimes is thrifting.

Tutoring Experience:

During my time at Queen's, I took various education courses and spent plenty of time in classrooms as a teacher's assistant for grades 3-12. While completing my undergrad, I tutored children ages 8-16. In the past few months, I've worked as a nanny for a family with a three and five year old. My goal is to be qualified as a high school English and Theatre teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to take time understanding what your needs and expectations are. Everyone learns differently and once we find an efficient way of communicating with each other, we're off to the races. I love relating studies to things that are of interest to the student -- let's make learning fun by relating it to things that you actually care about!
