Personal Description:

I'm a kindergarten teacher currently and am entirely dedicated to children's education. I work to help the children I tutor to develop a love of learning. This dedication has shown itself through the success of the students I have tutored. As an English tutor, I spend time listening to my students to build a trusting relationship that helps them be successful.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I'm currently working towards my master's degree in Reading as I intend to be a Reading Specialist for grades pre-K through 12. I'm an English tutor for students from elementary through college age, and some specific topics I tutor and I can help students prepare for standardized exams as well.

Tutoring Approach:

It's important that I know my students very well. I continually take note of their strengths, weaknesses, and interests so I can create engaging tutoring lessons for them. I believe learning is a collaboration between the English tutor and the student, and also including the parents and the classroom teachers.
