Personal Description:

Currently completing an Honours B.A. in Psychology (Behavioural Neuroscience) and Molecular Biology at McGill University. Native in English and fluent in French (B1 DELF certified). In my free time I play in the McGill Symphony, conduct research in a behavioural neurogenomics lab, work as an intern at the Montreal Neurological Hospital and work as a data analyst.

Tutoring Experience:

I currently work as a tutor through the McGill Tutoring Services, tutoring university-level students in a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, psychology, statistics, biology, neuroscience, English, music and more. I have held this position for the past two years. Previous to that, I tutored a variety of high school students in mathematics, English, French, biology, geography, history and chemistry. I held that position for three years.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to work with the student to present curriculum in the manner that is most conducive to their style of learning. I believe in making learning an interactive and interesting environment, using a variety of resources and methods to engage the student. With my education in behavioural neuroscience and educational psychology, I am aware of the most effective teaching techniques and ways to create a stimulating learning experience.
