Personal Description:

I currently work as a strategy analyst for a multinational corporation. I am a math tutor with more than five years of experience tutoring mostly college and high school students. I love teaching because by motivating my students, I am motivated to continue learning as well. I adapt my teaching methods to meet the unique learning needs of my students, as everyone learns differently.

Tutoring Experience:

I have earned my bachelor's degree in economics. Whether it is algebraic expressions, high school math, middle school math, or college algebra, I can help. I believe that my previous tutoring experiences have shaped me into the successful tutor I am today. I am now able to teach difficult math concepts properly.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a three-step method when teaching students. First, I explain the material and give ample examples. Then I allow my students to complete practice problems on their own. Finally, I have the student explain the concept to me as if I didn't know it. I have found that this method tells me if they have actually learned the concept.
