Personal Description:

I am a passionate instructor who enjoys working with students of all ages. I can support students as they practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening in French. If they have homework, I can answer their questions and serve as a sounding board as they work. I can also help them prepare for tests or tackle assignments.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over five years of experience as a French tutor, among several other languages. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Teaching English as a Second Language. I earned my ESOL teaching certification as well. I spent four years teaching abroad.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to impart knowledge, perseverance, and dedication to students. When I get to know a student, I can adapt my teaching methods to suit their individual needs. I keep their skill levels in mind while helping them build their French vocabulary, fluidity, and reading comprehension skills. In addition, I find ways to make the topics more relatable, such as focusing on their interests during conversational practice.
