Personal Description:

I am an economics tutor for high school and university students. In addition to tutoring basic economics courses, I also tutor a variety of courses related to the field such as accounting, business, financial accounting, macroeconomics, microeconomics, finance, and managerial accounting.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting. During my collegiate career, I served as a resident assistant and teaching assistant. I've also recently passed all of the Certified Professional Accountant exams for my region, so I know what it takes to prepare for the tests.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that to be an effective tutor one must be patient and encouraging. It is necessary to put one's self in the place of the student and see the instructional experience from their point of view. This makes it easier to see what the student needs to engage with the material and to change the instructional style and methods to reflect those learning needs during a session.
