Personal Description:

I am a native German who became a permanent resident of Canada two years ago. At the moment I am working as a Visting Professor at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and as a German teacher at a private German Saturday School in the Greater Toronto Area. My current students are 14 and 15 years old. I also work as a private tutor for various clients in Hamilton. I teach the prestigious German Language Diploma (DSD1 and DSD2) and prepare my curricula to meet the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Education for German as a second language. I love to meet my clients and design a curriculum according to their learning goals, their experience level and their personal interests. Tutoring Approach:

We can meet for lessons at your home once or twice per week for two hours. According to your learning goals I will provide the material. In my classes I try to cover all the fields - listening and reading comprehension, speaking, interaction, intercultural understanding, historical and political knowledge, writing and grammar. I can provide you with German literature and DVD‘s from my collection and will correct your home assignments within a few days.
