Personal Description:
Hi there! My name is Ryan and I love to teach. I love the feeling you get when you help that student overcome an obstacle that may have stood in their way.
I also have many other interests such as sports, music, movies, food and the outdoors. Contact me for all of your tutoring needs!
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a teacher in the NB public school system for the past 9 years. The subjects I have taught include English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Technology and Math spanning grades Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to determine my students' strengths and areas where they struggle in order to determine the areas where they need extra assistance. A student may be a competent writer but may struggle with deeper reading. Based on this information, I try to develop engaging lessons that enable students to work towards their goals and improve in areas that require improvement. I also use a variety of techniques and methods in order to help students achieve their academic goals and be the best that they can be!
