Personal Description:

Hello! I am a student working towards a certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I have been working with children from ages 2-15 for the last eight years as both a childcare provider and as a gymnastics instructor. I understand kids, and I bring that understanding to my work with compassion and patience.

Tutoring Experience:

Over the past 3 years I have tutored the child in my care in math and literacy both in person and, recently, via video calls. I have additional experience tutoring math via video calls at a grade 7 level.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is adaptability, and connection to my students. I like to know a bit about my students likes and interests, and incorporate them into the subjects being taught. This is especially important for younger children! For example, if your six year old has a love of trains, I aim incorporate that into the lesson.
