Personal Description:

Solving problems in chemistry, like any subject, requires a certain amount of creativity. Even with the formulas already determined, there is usually more than one way to go about solving a specific problem. I work with my students on strengthening that mindset. I have extensive tutoring experience with high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, studying a lot of mathematics and physics along the way. I started tutoring while I was in college and enjoyed it, so I have been doing it ever since. As a chemistry tutor, I can work with students in high school or college.

Tutoring Approach:

I have seen that students each learn in their own way. I structure my tutoring to allow my students to discover their learning unique blend of learning styles and further develop them. The more my student knows about how they learn, the better I am able to help them with complex chemistry material.
