Personal Description:

I have developed an affinity for diversity and tolerance through the many places that I have lived. I have the ability to develop meaningful educational exchanges with diverse learners. I'm an English tutor who can work with students in a variety of subjects including college English, English as a Second Language, high school English, reading, and writing.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature and Language. I went on to earn my master's degree in International and Intercultural Education and am now a state-certified teacher. I have an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have experience as a teacher and tutor for students from pre-K through grade 12.

Tutoring Approach:

When I first meet with my student, I spend time building up their confidence by letting them know they can excel in the topic at hand. I share with them strategies that have helped me conquer the subject. I'm very positive and I like to encourage my students to do and be their best.
