Personal Description:

I am Richard , 23 years old college student on math major at the Santa Ana College. I like to teach mathematics on every level from the basic ones through algebra to Calculus. I gladly teach math to every age from elementary students to adults as well. I am available for math any time because it is not only my profession but also my hobby.

Tutoring Experience:

I can prepare students for exams successfully. I have already done it with plenty of college and high school students. I also taught adults and even young pupil when they got trouble in their studies. Every time when I start to teach mathematics to somebody, s/he always can understand any part of the math quickly and easily.
I learned math, especially statistics at my university. My algebra test was excellent on the highest level. Then, I learned calculus at the Santa Ana College, and I finished it with A. During my studies, I was a tutor under my own power, and I experienced a lot working with college and adult students.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a friendly helper. We can review every area or problem that is not clear for the student. If there is a theme that a student cannot understand, I can explain it, and we can exercise it through problems, assignments. I wait while the student tries to figure the solution out by himself or herself, and after that I help him/her to realize what can be his/her problem in the given example. Then, I help the student to solve the problem reflecting on what s/he has to keep in mind and review again. I know that the most practices are the best; therefore, I make the student practice more examples in order to memorize all practices and methods carefully.
