Personal Description:

I am a StFX graduate with an English major as well as a college graduate with a Paralegal Diploma. I love teaching English because it gives students a voice. I believe words are very powerful and influence people and how they impact the world.

Tutoring Experience:

I am presently an experienced College Instructor an and teach English and Communications. I also have many years experience working in legal research and writing.

Tutoring Approach:

I use a variety of teaching methods depending on the student which may include the direct method; the structural approach; total physical response; and communicative language teaching. I provide a fun and relaxed environment for students and encourage them every step of the way to build confidence and self esteem.
