Information About Resham
Toronto tutorPersonal Description:
I am a neuroscience researcher, currently on a career break to pursue some personal interests. I love science especially biology, and I have always loved teaching. I completed my postdoctoral research at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. Prior to that I did my Ph.D. and M.Sc at Ulm University, Germany and King's College, London respectively. I specialized in neurodegeneration and nano-neuromedicine, and worked in the field of Alzheimer's, ALS and Traumatic Brain Injury. My Ph.D. was focused on delivering bioactive substances into the CNS using nanomedical approaches for the treatment of synaptopathies.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught laboratory work to high school, Bachelors, Masters and MD students. During my PhD, I also delivered lectures to undergraduate and Masters students.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in performance based learning. I will be teaching at the student's pace, and I will only move to the next concept when the student has fully understood the first one.
