Personal Description:

Hello! I am from Toronto, but completed a Masters and a PhD in Earth Sciences in the UK. Since returning home to Canada in 2020, I have started pursuing a career within the Renewable Energy industry, as I am a specialist in finding geothermal energy resources. I was lucky enough to live in many different places during my degree, including Chile, London and Japan, and I spent lots of time outdoors collecting data so it was an adventurous pursuit! Otherwise, I am an avid reader, photographer, snowboarder and movie buff, and I am based out west for the mountains and for my work.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught at university level physics, mathematics, chemistry and programming (particularly MatLab and Python) as a teaching assistant and tutorial leader. I was also a tutor during my high-school days.

Tutoring Approach:

I love to make lessons fun and interesting for the student, and will cater lessons to the student's preferred learning style. I hugely enjoy an open dialogue with a student, so that they may learn to think about the problem in a way that they understand.
