This is how 37 referees rated Rebeca:
I really enjoy teaching and learning, particularly in subjects related to math and science. I am very interested in education, particularly in STEM-related fields, as well as the various models of education that enable students to learn to the best of their abilities. My advanced qualifications and my high school chemistry teaching experience allow me to cover a wide range of chemistry topics as a chemistry tutor.
I completed a bachelor's degree specializing in Microbiology at the University of Texas at El Paso before going on to obtain a master's degree with a specialization in STEM Education from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to my advanced qualifications, I have been teaching high school chemistry, as well as physics, environmental sciences, and biology, for the past 10 years.
I believe that teaching is a journey on which the teacher guides and facilitates learning in a student-centered environment. I strive to create engaging lessons and work through hands-on projects with my students.
