Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Raluca and I am a 3rd year student at The King’s University, majoring in Psychology. Prior to moving to Canada for my studies, I have lived in Belgium for 10 years and learned how to speak French fluently. French is my second language as I am originally from Romania. I have been gifted with the ability to learn and teach languages really easily. I am very passionate about helping others learning other languages as I am currently able to speak 5 of them.

Tutoring Experience:

I have not been a tutor before but I am have been teaching many of my friends how to speak French fluently. I had many opportunities to translate from English to French at different events and learn a lot from these experiences. I believe I will be well equipped to help someone learn the basics of French and teach them how to maintain a conversation. I have personally be tutored for English lessons prior to moving to Canada and have acquired some skills to teaching languages from that personal experience.

Tutoring Approach:

Tutoring is something I have always been interested in doing as I enjoy helping others acquire different skills but especially languages. I would love to build a great relationship with my tutees around trust and respect.
