Personal Description:

Hi! I'm Puja, a university student who enjoys learning and helping people do the same. I am currently working towards a joint degree in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from SFU. I maintained an excellent academic record all through high school, and took higher level courses in Mathematics, English Literature, Psychology, Economics, and Research. I would love to help you understand concepts you are struggling with, and hopefully make it fun in the process.

Tutoring Experience:

I helped lead our school's Rotary Club, a subdivision of an international non-profit, and established a project where we tutored students without proper access to education. I have also tutored multiple classmates in high school.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe learning is about understanding the fundamental concepts underlying more complex ones. I will help you figure out which areas of your foundation are weak, work with you on it, and help you then connect it to higher level concepts that you will then understand with far more ease. Different subjects and students need different approaches, and I will adjust it accordingly, but my goal will be to first make you truly understand the concept and then practice its variety of uses.
