Personal Description:

I have experience as a teacher and as a tutor. My degrees are in music, but I have a wide range of academic interests, which serves me well as an economics tutor because economics is a subject that covers a lot of ground beyond what you might immediately expect, and includes subjects like geography and ethics. I can work with economics students on specific topic areas, or with test prep for their exams, or even with something like essay editing.

Tutoring Experience:

I have several years' experience as an educator, including as a tutor, school teacher, and as a university-level lecturer. I have a bachelor's degree in music and a Ph.D… also in music.

Tutoring Approach:

I always want to be patient and responsive. I try to take the time to understand where my students are coming from so I can develop a study plan that is grounded in shared learning and specific to each individual student.
