Personal Description:

I am able to help students with a variety of English concepts and skills in personalized sessions. As an English tutor, I want to help students enjoy learning and explore skills in interesting ways. I am able to focus on the topics that are most important for each student. Without other learners to accommodate, I am able to give my full attention to each student and present material in ways that fit their learning style.

I earned bachelor's degrees in History, Philosophy, and English Literature.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe students learn best when they play an active role in their education. As an English tutor, I want to give students tools to learn on their own while addressing their goals. I think it is valuable to look at concepts from different angles if a student is stuck. Likewise, I encourage students to take their time as they learn to fully internalize the content they are examining.
