Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor for students at all academic levels, including those students in advanced courses such as AP Biology or AP Environmental Science. I am passionate about mentoring others and teaching biology to students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology and my graduate degree in health management systems. During my time there, I tutored students at the university level.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to be both patient and energetic when working with students. I understand the material thoroughly and can explain it in a variety of ways utilizing targeted learning techniques depending on the learning style of the student. I help motivate students to do their best by creating learning goals with them and keeping them involved with the learning process. When a topic is especially challenging I present the material in a variety of different ways until the student feels confident that they understand it.
