Personal Description:

I like to meet each student where they're at in a subject and discover what challenges they are experiencing with the topic we're studying. This helps me understand how we can work together to understand and retain the relevant information. I am a good biology tutor because I work patiently with each student.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government and went on to earn my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine. I enjoy tutoring students from elementary school through graduate school levels. Specific topics I feel comfortable tutoring include biology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to understand what motivates each of my students and to understand what their learning style is, whether it's visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. I guide students to a thorough understanding of the material they're learning rather than just encouraging them to memorize a bunch of facts. I am good at breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand information.
