Personal Description:

I have five years of experience tutoring students of all ages, ranging from those in elementary school to those who are in college.

Tutoring Experience:

As a math tutor, I can help you with applied mathematics, 11th-grade math, elementary school math and more. I also help students who want to prepare for standardized tests like the ACT exams. In addition to covering the material these exams will test you on, I can also help you prepare for the format of various sections to make taking the test easier.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a foundational approach to tutoring, in that I try to ensure my students have as strong and as sturdy a foundation of basic knowledge as possible so that they can build upon it. I view it as very important not to rush ahead but to make sure that you can walk before you run. I also like to encourage my students to be self-directed learners, so that they can make progress on their own as well.
