Information About Nikita

Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Nikita, and I am a full-time Direct Marketing Advisor working for an Oil and Energy company in Canada. I also have an online conversational English program to help students improve their English conversation skills!

Tutoring Experience:

I see each lesson with my student as an opportunity to learn something new. As a teacher I am friendly, approachable and easy to talk to about pretty much anything! I want my student to feel comfortable enough with me to ask questions and make mistakes, so I can correct them using non-authoritative teaching skills. In return, my students learn how to speak English quicker!

I have been tutoring for over a year now as an English tutor. I currently work with my husband to teach students through our very own online conversational English program.

Tutoring Approach:

I want my students to feel comfortable when learning a new language, so my teaching style is more casual and conversational.

We talk about various topics of interest to the student. I provide takeaways for my students to learn and practice after each lesson. I also provide homework and fun activities that students can partake in and present their experience to me in our next lessons. Over time my students speak faster and in proper grammatical form.

I want my students to feel confident to be able to speak English as if it was their native tongue.
