Personal Description:

I have a BA Degree in Education and more than 6 years of teaching experience with students from China, Thailand, USA, and Japan. I am a TESOL certified Tutor with a solid foundation in the ESL industry. I have studied French, Chinese, and Thai. I understand the challenges that come with learning a language. This allows me to effectively train my students using methods I have cultivated in my own language studies.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked closely with some of the largest ESL companies in China and Japan. I have developed curricula that meet internationally recognized ESL, EFL, TESOL, and TEFL standards. Over the years I have worked with young children, teenagers, and adults. I specialize in tailoring curricula to each student's needs. No two students are the same, so no two classes should be. The best education is a hands-on, personalized one that effectively meets the needs of the student.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to provide a reliable, comfortable, and professional classroom for any student to excel in. Each student is unique, no two students are the same. Therefore I personalize the curriculum to each pupil.

I specialize in Autonomic Learning, this means my students are trained to continue learning beyond the classroom. This kind of education enables students to build their confidence and learn to put their education to use.

Given my past and current experience within the ESL industry, I am familiar with common challenges and pitfalls learners face when studying a new language. My practical experience allows me to quickly and effectively assess my students to identify areas that need improvement.

With all my students I encourage questions, new ideas, and constant improvement. Having traveled the world and personally developed a respectful attitude for the cultures and peoples I have come to know I want to impart that experience and appreciation to my students.
