Personal Description:

As a math tutor, I especially enjoy breaking down concepts and skills into easy-to-understand pieces. I can help students review for exams like the ACCUPLACER College-Level Math or the GED. We can go over test-taking strategies that can make it easier to approach challenging problems, as well as brush up on key concepts. I enjoy working with and helping students.

I am a professional math teacher with 10 years of experience in the classroom. I have been a math tutor for the last 15 years, assisting students of all ages. I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Math.

Tutoring Approach:

I assess each student to figure out their level of understanding and learning needs. I have a versatile approach to teaching that allows me to work with a variety of different learning styles. I believe that every student is capable of learning. I teach using technology, games, and real-life examples.
