Hello,
My name is Naomi. I am a senior high school student and I am eager to share my love of the Math subject by tutoring those that need some extra help. I love teaching kids, and also happy to tutor students of elementary and high school ages.
For my math classes over years, I often got the highest marks (85+), especially at MCR3U (Math grade 11 university functions) and MCF4U(Math grade 12 university advanced functions), so I believe I can help you out with your problem.
I have flexible hours and I am proficient with Zoom, Google Meeting.
The price is $15/hour.

Tutoring Experience:

At present, I am studing for the senior year of high school,I would be interested in applying for this position.
In Canada, I have over a year of experience in math instruction by teaching my friends, so I have accumulated some teaching skills for myself.
When I was in my hometown, I often teach to my siblings, friends about math,science.
Succeeded in helping students and my friends raise their grades an average of 70+ %
Strong interpersonal skills in working with students to help them achieve and succeed.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor, my ultimate goal is to help the student become an independent learner.
I can help students strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills.
On the first day, I will provide the mini test to check the knowledge of students so I can create a good way of teaching them.
Another day, I will prepare all of the lessons for them included homework, exercise task, format, and explanation for each part clearly.
For the next few days, I will go over the last lesson and start the new lesson for that day, so students can keep track of themselves and not forget the last lesson. On the weekend or day-off (the day I do not teach them), I will send the summarize of all the lessons we go over on week day and provide some short questions so they can practice and do it on their space time.
